I am new with 3d programming but have a lot of experience with 2d games. I need some help with creating shadows in Dark Basic, not Dark Basic Pro. I couldn't afford it. I've looked at the tutorial for shadows, and have my own little engine, but it just doesn't work. I created two light sources, a point and a spot, and the spot is a dark light (rgb(-255,-255,-255)). I set them up in the same spots as the tutorial, but can't get it to make shadows with anything on a matrix, characters or cubes.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

shadows arent cast in DB regular. You have to make them yourself

and by make them yourself I mean make your shadow an actual object, like a plain, and code it to look like a shadow
