I am using 3ds max 5.
3ds max 5 have a feature called render to texture.
so because db pro doesnt support multiple textures yet...
(for example i have a cube and i put diferent texture to every face).
so i said to make render to texture...(flatten the object and texture it via photoshop as one texture on the whole object)before i make that i want to ask if db pro support this feature.
thanks in advance

I use a tool called chilliskinner to apply the uv coords, then I texture the object, set the lights, and let it render to texture. works fine with DBPro

Oh I forgot, after applying the uv coords, I export the texturemap with texporter

chilliskinner + texporter is what i use too
its a fantastic combo (^_^)

there is another from the guys who made texporter called TexMex (don't ask why lol) but it allows you to bake textures like you can in Lightwave and export more convincing skin and such from you scenes light points

if you setup a Sunlight with a slightly yellowish hue around 3200metres away at 1.0 intensity and a Falloff of around 3100metres @ 10am (somewhere in the 20-25° north range) it makes extremely convincing texture bakes

should really only be used for stuff like Characters, if you want it for worlds then i'd checkout a good BSP editor
