Hello,
I have Paint Shop Pro 7 for a long time now, but never used it. So maybe you can help a little. I found this in a search, maybe some one that use PSP can help me to make a gloass texture.
*********************************************************************
Here is the instructions again posted from ApexNow using Paint Shop pro.

to create a transparent bitmap, if you have Paint Shop Pro, I can explain exactly how to do it.

1. Create your texture image and then load into PSP.
***************************************************************
1. I am useing 512x512 textures. So do I just make a bitmap 512x512? Do I put a color on it?
*********************************************************************
2. Convert the image to 16.7 (24bit)
*********************************************************************
2. What do I have to do to convert the image to 16.7 (24bit)?
*********************************************************************

3. Select the Masks menu and select New->From Image.

4. In the dialog that appears, select "Any non zero value" And click OK.

5. Now select 'Save To Akpha Channel' from the Masks menu. A dialog will appear showing the alpha channel of your texture. All areas of the main image that are black will show up as white in the preview image of the mask.

6. From this dialog, select "New Channel" from the list box and click OK. Now type in "Alpha Channel 1" and click ok.

7. You've now created a correct 24bit image with an alpha channel for CShop.

8. Save the new texture image as a 24bit Uncompressed TGA file.
*********************************************************************
8. there is only one TGA file formatt when I use save as. Is that one 24bit uncompressed?
*********************************************************************
9. Use the texture as necessary.

Thank You
