These are my offical 2 and 4th models that i have ever made. Both are made in wings then i have done some minor work (color/convert to x) in truespace.

Any C&C would be appreciated.
I have actually found making charecters easier in wings, i think its because i have a real life model to look at while making the chara, while trying to make a futuristic airplane or something requires imagination.

Also i have one question, i was thinking about putting the big chara in a platfomer(after i figure out how to fix his midsection), but i need to actually give him a personality and that requires texturing. Could someone point me in the right direction to learn to texture objects that are in .x or 3ds format?

it looks good for a start!.... Two things.... the kid is a bit fat, unless its supposed to be that way. And another thing... Id H8 to be that guy, the joing between the legs could do with lowering, otherwise his voice would be extreamly high pitched!

bout bloody time, I've been waiting to see what you would cook up dude lol

Looks good for firsties looking back to my first model of Link...makes me laugh

And well I agree with what add says, you'll have him sounding like Micheal Jackson or Daniel Beddingfield, and I would find that an insult (especially if I sounded like Daniel)

Yea im still trying to figure out how to lower the joint there without skrewing him up completely. That and modelling heads is really annoying because i can never do it right.

Seppoku, i think im going to take a shot at link, then post him and my new space ship model.

@snow: its not made in gamespace, it was made completly in wings, and then i used truespace to export it to .X

These are my most recent models. I hope i am actually getting better.

Oh by the way could someone help me out on making the upper body, it looks like crap. I dont understand how to actually model it so that
a) he doesnt look too fat.
b) It fits in with the lowerbody.

Here is another screen, i made a few changes but i still need help forming the upperbody correctly. I made his body sink inwads as he got closer to the midsection so that i can put a belt their (concept linkOT). But it would be helpfull if somone could point me in the right direction for modelling the upper body, most of the tutorials i find are of women atanomy (wings forums), and i have a 7 year old brother sitting beside me playing animal crossing so i can actually use them.

Thanks
