I don't think thats a bug, I can make models look that bad in C4D if I turn backface culling on , its to do with Culling, I've never used Milkshape, but by the looks of things Milkshape (like Truespace) constantly has Backface culling turned on, this is not a bug, it just shows you what it would look like ingame. This means, your faces are really upside down, but there should be an option to flip selected faces, that should solve you problem (has worked for me in C4D and Truespace)

Select the 3 vertices that form the face then choose Reverse vertex order from the face menu

...maybe one day I'll finish a project

I posted mine before your second post turned up (hadn't been approved by then)... but the action changing... Stuck Keys? that's about all I can think of...

But for your first thing (about extruding) You know you can't extrude vertices in Milkshape, don't you? You can only extrude fully constructed faces, so if some faces are facing the wrong way, you're going to have problems extruding

As far as I know, its possible to google out tutorials to most known modlers, including Milkshape. I'm sure those would give you a lot more information than the users here.

And tutorials can easily be applied to modelers other than their intended ones.

Woa, hope you mean the demo of C4D There. Huge jump. If you are talking about the Demo, dont think you can export model formats. its been years since i've used a Maxon Demo, But i'm sure u cant export models. Seppuku will help me on this one.

yup, the demo is for learning purposes only, its sweet, but what you need to do, is pick on app you can afford to use (where you can save and export) stick with it, learn how to model, you will encounter a lot of problems, don't be scared by them as you'll work them out (or get help) and if you feel that your app isn't as powerful as you want it to be, then you can consider more harshly priced packages, and well if you are interested in C4D, either learn Blender or Milkshape, as it will hopefully be an easy switch for you

Small shoes can have holes cut in the front to let my toes through. And I can put my shoes inside of his shoes and we'll be all good if they're too big
