Well Zedane + Other interested, here is a tutorial for making low poly hair quikly, easily and can be used in any good 3D modelling app. Oooh look Zedane you're in the msn window

And well the final trick, is in the texture, my texture is crap, so I won't do that part, and to make it look realistic, I would use alpha maps with the texture, unfortunately, my alpha mapping is crap too lol.

Thanks, Cinema 4D is awesome, but it costs quite a bit, I use an old version I got for £10 on amazon, but you would be very lucky to find another one like that.

What app are you using, usually you have to go into seperate options to go to face select.

@Simsmall, good good, I've found usually when I put up a number of images people with 56k complain

@Heckno, thanks

good good

Its pretty cheap. Its a professional 3D graphics package, not just some 3D modeller, compare to other programs that do the same thing (some do even more, and some are better quality, but C4D is still cheap)
note all prices are approximate
Lightwave £800
Softimage £500
3DSMax £2500
Maya £1500(Bare bones stuff)-£5000(The full version)
Houdini £8000 ($15000)

Even if you still think C4D is expensive, this is an animation program below, not all round, just animation, called Endorphin which is £8000, which was used to animate Lord of The Rings CGI effects. 3D Graphics is an expensive business
