So let me get this straight: A potentially skilled/experianced artist will paint for you and in-exchange you give him your crappy models? And yes, note how I said "Crappy models" judging by the fact that you didn't post any previous work which leads me to believe you just got into modeling 4 days ago.

Who said we were "too good"? No one is showing any liking because you came in with no experience or attempts of your own, and demanded things. Try some things out for yourself, start with free stuff, get used to a program, ask small questions at a time. Don't come into a possible profession/hobby with no attempts of your own....

Alright lets see here:.
I have an asignment for you, it should be too hard for a starter.
This is a smal project you can do that may improve your reputation a bit, and help out quite a few people.

Go here:.
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&b=19&t=65464&p=4

This is a bit of a community game, and people are modling characters based on people here at this forum. A male base-model has been made for people to be able to modify and texture their own character if wanted. A female base-model is missing however.

here is a quick image for you, it should be easly done because you've got both a front view and a side view which can be imported directly into the viewports of most moderls. Look at the other base models there to get an idea. And try not to ask too many questions, cause all answers can be found by searching this forum or another.

Here you are, its nothing fancy, but its 100% functional and its a good test to see if you can handle it.

Looking forward to seeing what you make of it.

Wow. Johnny it sure is, it makes modelling look soo easy. Its like, you want to know what edges to move, just look at the image, you have everything right there.

Now i'm a total newbie in this 3d scene, and this is my second attempt at a low poly char.
But this one seems ok, coming in at 440 faces.

anyway, use at ur leasure, if not delete, I'm not too worried.

cheers

We don't hate you, just people are criticising you because you are heading too fast, and tripping over your feet running before you can walk, learn the modelling part first dude, we like learners, so we can help, but what people tend to hate is people thinking they're better than they are and get ahead of themselves, and so this forum being this forum, you get flamed for it.

And well, most people on this forums are the learners really

[edit]
read big add's latest thread, you may find it useful dude

That manikan thing, not good for making characters, what I would do is press "C" then look at the bar on your left and click on the icon below the film strip that looks like two manakin arms, then click on a limb and drag, funny how fun it actually is

Ill stick with blender thanks.
Are you talking about actually modelling a person from scratch? Or dragging a model from a library? Hell, i can 'make' a perfect person in blender in about 5 secs, just load makehuman script and there ya go. But thats not modelling.
