Is it possible to create people, weapons, maps, and vehicles with this? If so, then this software rocks!!

No, it's not lame at all! There are many programs you can use to make models and textures for your project. It would be silly to build a modeler inside of FPSC when there are so many good modelers available elsewhere. I suggest trying milkshape or Wings3d.

Am I right in saying that to create your own levels completely you have to actually build custom walls in a model maker, then import them to the segment editor for texturing (and other stuff), THEN import the segment into FPSC?

(Thought I'd ask here instead of making a new thread)

you are wraong Dr_Badman. just copy a regular segment. open the copied
version in segment editor and change textures. you dont need to completely
change the model
