I hade an idea... would it be posible to make a golf game in FPSC?
someone got a sword working in fpsc so... if the sword model was a golf club model...
then I could get a ball model into fpsc and have it use the main.fpi/default.fpi (witchever one hade the physics) and make a winzone script that would win when the ball has a colision with the zone instead of the player colison ( I've never made a working .fpi before but I'le try). Well would that work?
P.S. Don't coppy my idea!

Yup. Pretty much, just the win zone part need the right script and stuff. Good idea! I considered making dodge ball once - not sure how to make enemies throw back

There are to many games without any unique ideas in here, yes becuase of fpsc limits but you seem to have the nack for a good game with this engine. I wish you well and good luck. I will look forward to seeing this

Yes and no.
EntityWithinZone was never made, so THAT doesn't work, but there is an anywithin (Ask conjured for the zone equivalant)

So you could have

:anywithin=10,plrdistfurther=10:activateallinzone=1
as an idea, not sure if it works as I have been having issues with win scripts. but, CONJURED- there is a reason I am not using zone, holes are SMALL zones are BIG. Unless you count the "Easy Button" holes.

The only problem now is that the plr can pick the ball up, walk over to the hole, and drop it in.

Just as a tip, dammage should be around 250 for a good longer.

It has become appearnt that physics force of a weapon is directly related to the dammage it deals.

Also looking forward to this, and don't be afraid to ask for help (Although, I am not certain FPSC Can handle this, terrain issues and all.

Maybe that can be done by doing hole in grass segment somehow and under to it little room (1x1) and win zone in that room?

Just a quick side-note. When I animated KeithC's sword and put it in game I just used a few tricks to make it work as melee. The end of the sword doesn't actually hit anything during the swing, so it wouldn't quite work as a golf club. I'm just sending damage out as far as the end of the sword during the swing. Works really well, and you can't tell it's fake, but the principal wouldn't carry over to a golf club. Still working on that part. Good idea on the golf game, though.

You can still swing, I would help with the hard core programming, but I don't even know where to beign for somthing like this... All I KNOW is that you need to beable to pick up a physics object and keep a point attached to you and apply a force... but that requires knowledge of the physics engine, and other things I don't know yet.

It is doable without the engine edits, but the ball wouldn't sail right... don't know.
