I'm wondering how one would make a cylinder in W3D that has a bottom face, but no top face. Basically to be like a cup. I've tried bridging the top and bottom faces, but that gets rid of them completely. Any help is greatly appreciated. (Oh and extruding the top face into the cylinder kinda creates extra polys, so im looking for an alternative)

dunno if this'll work in wings...

select all the faces on the top and middle.
hit delete on your keyboard.

That will leave me with one face... and thats not what I want. And deleting the top one just makes a new one in its place. Oh well, I figured it out.

Select the face you want and extrude it inwards

Here i show with picutes. MINI TUT!

We start with the basic cylinder. Select one side.

Next right click and click intrude.

Move it to prefered liking.. but if you just want it normal... just release after clicking.

Lol thanx Frozen, that's what I referred to figuring out in my last post, but thanks for the thought.

Another way is to select the top and bottom faces and use the bridge command, but the intrude is better when you can do it.

Bridge would leave it with no bottom face.
