I want import my .X files as level props, the terrain will be matrix. What I want to know is, can I set up my props (.X) to have collision detection (like a flat floor or stairs) that will handle properly? I wanted to create a box, size it to the size i needed, see if the player was colliding with it, and reposition his Y where the floor would be ... but i think it's too low to detect my players SPHERE collision settings. And I already have a collision code for sliding against walls, so that wouldn't be a problem. I just need floors I have no clue how to even start. Thanks peeps.
P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

Or, more simply put, how do I walk no an .X file? (in an .X file in some cases) Sounds like i'm trying out for the tv-show!
