I got an idea , but i need to get a team for it...

I want to make a 3d moddeler with a good dark basic support witch exports in .x . I would like to make it like a easy , and free solution for 3d moddeling , nothing special , just a small 3d moddeling program.

Now i want to make it in assembly .

So if anyone knows "RosAsm" , and for version , my exe name is "RosAsm2027a.exe" (that`s all i know..) .

If someone knows it , if he wants to join , we could make a good 3d moddeling program ..

So who wonts to join , post a reply here...

VanB already has this idea covered. Hes working on VanMESH which (Im guessing) will have good DB support. MS3D has good DB support as well....everything you need .x format wise.

it`s not that i need a moddeler , 3d studio max is inaff good for me...
it`s that i just would like to MAKE a little free thing for other people .

And yes , well db support is .x mainly... But it can also have like when you make something , and you want to point it into strait direction foward in db , just click on a button and it points into that direction whatever it is in "my program".

and ok , i can`t say anything else if noone will join , that`s ok with me , i had to try. As i sad i`l try making it myselve . Sofar only thing i actually did is wrote a dx9 support - just for good rendering and also possibility to export into .x (but no program , only that , i will just include that into my program when i finish it`s interface and all.). I know how to make primitives to be created with mouse (i will try to make it like in max , you choose primitive , and click where you want it , hold the mouse button , and with moving the mouse , you are scaling the object..).

That i can make , but i`m a little "afraid" of making model editing tools . I was thinking about adding option for face and for VERTEX editing . Also extrude should work . (but that really will take some time so i won`t bodder you all with that , i`m sorry i did.-i`l speak about it again , when it`s nearly or finished...)

Sorry. I know you don't need a modeller and you want to make one. Just posted that so you can take look at how some others have done theirs, and maybe get an idea. Instead of the usual max, etc.

Well thanks ..

anyway it`s going to be hard work really doing that , but i really decided it and i`m not gonna change my mind ... (eaven if it comes out like a crapy model editor that can only make and scale primitives...) ...

Anyways (again?) does someone know ros asm assembly ?

and now i downloaded game space light , it`s free but it has limit to 650 polyg , i`l give my BEST to bring you guys a proper model pack for games (but stationary objects like houses , and stuff..650 polyg limit is not good for charaters and cars...)
