do you guys know of a way I could fix the extruded parts of Crash's face. it's like, instead of their only being eight polygons, there are 16 (8 within the 8 that you see)? this is my first model; one of my favorite mascots.thank you i am using Wings 3d

That is a blurry picture... Fix the picture, but what you could do, being Wings 3d, is get back to before you extruded the areas. As in when they were all "one" polygon that was split. Delete the edges going down the middle and it should fix your problem.

then sadly you may have to restart the torso...hmm...I'll see what I can figure out. (maybe bridging the inner faces of the extruded portions?)

You can delete extrudes by selecting all of the faces that have been extruded and clicking the DEL button on your keyboard.

Once you've deleted the extrudes, do as said above and delete the edges to turn it into one face

Now extrude this single face outwards, scale to your likings, modify certain areas, and repeat until your model is done.

<EDIT>

Here's a pic to help, basically it shows extruding one face from a cube, selecting all of the faces, deleteingthe extrusion and then deleting the original faces to make one big face.
