I have just spent about a week rigging and animating a model. I am using the following .x export settings:

DirectX8 Skin And Bones
Binary
Output Templates
Center At Position Offset
Position Offset: 0,0,0
Uniform Scale: 0.1
Loop Animation
Spline Positions
Spline Rotations
Scale Keyframes: 1
Export Frames: 1 to 50

If I delete the meshes, the model loads fine (fat lot of use). I've had no problems with models exported with these settings before. Lithunwrap loads the model fine, but it doesn't support animation. Has anyone experienced these problems before? Are there any programs that do load the exported model correctly? Is there any way to fix it, because re-animating would be a hassle, and re-rigging would be even more of a pain.

How about buying Ultimate Unwrap 3d - the better version of Lithunwrap?

WindowsXP Professional, Pentium 4 DualCore 2.8GHz CPU, 1gb DDR2 RAM, GeForce 7800GTX, SoundBlaster X-Fi (7.1)

On the CharacterFX website there is a tutorial on the correct export formats for exporting to DBP. Im pretty sure VanB uses CFX, so try getting in touch with him, as he may know the solution.

Found what the problem is. I merged two cfx files and some bones shared the same name. DBPro doesn't like limbs sharing the same name.

Now however, the copied skeleton and mesh animate all wrongly when exported. This is probably because I flipped them after merging the scenes. I have kind of fixed the problem by messing around, flipping and rotating bones.
