I'm wondering how to use edited .DDS files as textures?
Where should I save them if I want use them with characters?

Put them in /entitybank/ww2/characters

ww2 as an example.

Stick them in texturebank directory then make sure the .FPE file (of your entity) points to the correct directory/file
