I have found interesting terrain maker.

Visual Terrain maker is freeware modeling program in which you can make terrains and export them to .x format or save it in his .glo format. It's very simple and easy to use and you can aply textures to terrains.

Ist not bad.. but in my pc work full screen, i dont like that.. ( but is free .. thats like)
for me is better TERRANIMOR (freeware), work in a simply window

they are 2 programs..
1.- anim8or: for modeling (and animated for video or other aplication not for games..:=( )
2.- Terranim8or, for create "terrain models".
Terranim8or id for modeling.. you have to think in other progs for texture the models you make whit this progs..
