I have not bought the full version of FPSC yet. But I got hit
with a wave of curiosity.

With edited media as follows:
Adobe photoshop CS2 (You would have to be an idiot not to know what that is)- Texture editing
3ds Max, and milkshape 3d. - Models

I have some pretty good stuff like that, though 3ds max is acting up...

I use adobe photoshop for high quality textures (Jedi knight III, bump mapped textures, stuff like that)
The two modelers make an awesome couple.

And with the ease in the demo (Maybe a little harder in full version, dunno yet), I usually create 25-45 levels.

What could a game made from the above hit in price?

(My hope is at least 3$)

I wish I was only 3400 years old...

In the UK, we rarely complain about games that cost a fiver £5, which is about $7, maybe $5 is a good price for your game - basically the sort of money that you would'nt miss and therefore are comfortable taking a chance with it.

I've bought dozens of budget games that I've played once then been instantly ashamed of, I reckon a FPSC game would be far better than the usual budget tripe that some stores try to sell.

Heh, yeah.

I once thought I found an interesting FPS game... it was so horrible, I took it back...

When you buy a game for under 2$, it is usually a demo. 5$ sounds good for a 35-45 level game.

Yeah, so when I get fpsc, 5$ will be the good games.

About how many people will buy it?
I was hoping at least 1 every week?

Depends on how good it is, and how much work you put into it I suppose.

If you use all the default stuff, I wouldn't buy it.

You want your own models and textures for your games.

if your game is good, the sort that makes the end user want to play ever when they need to sleep/go to work/school then you would be stupid not to charge at least £20 per unit.

if its a 10 level not too much thinking type, you know the ones we have all got them somewhere on our hard drive, then £5 - £10, lets face it in the UK at least try getting 2 big mac meals and have change fromm a tenner!!!! is relative to your target markets finatial abilities. to that i mean if its a game for NEBIE gamers then dont charge much,if however its a FPS monster then hay £20 per unit is very cheep.
