1) Can i do anything to stop my game freezing up because it has a stupid rendering system and can't cope with my level (still only half done)

2) How long does building a game take: minutes, hours or days. My attempts so far have done nothing after hour.

Need more RAM?

It depends, what are your specs?

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

Skalex, you liar.

Are you actually BUILDING a level? Or just building a tile?

About 14 min for a good level (And I have reached the Light Object Limit!!!) (7 min for you 3.6GHz 'rs)

And that is full off, full on...
Lets say 14 hours.

Well, Eagle, if it has done nothing, it may be because you didn't save before you started building. For me, FPSC freezes unless you save directly before you build; no idea why, but that's just me.

I usually test my levels with quick light-mapping (dynamic lighting on) and 256x256 textures. The load up pretty well but once i try to exit them, FPSC freezes with a white screen, so i tend to save everything immediately before testing.

I've tried to build my level with the same settings as the test version but nothing happens. The progress bar doesn't do anything. When i try to cancel the operation, i doesn't respond.

Ctrl + Alt + Del allows me to shut it down but i shuts down really quickly, as if it hasn't been doing anything.

Please don't tell me i have to reinstall it, i hate reinstalling...
