I like it. Would be great for opening sequences or just any random scenes in games that have no player control

Well...the lights are a bit solid...and grey? Make them translucent blue or whitish yellow...

Its looking realy great. You do need some Side Mirrors. Also the good old Porsche logo on the front. But apart from that.. tis good work.

Thanks sepp
Here is the new version:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v440/MasterChief54924/550Porsche3.jpg
The 550 porsche actually has no side mirrors, just the one in the middle. It doesn't have the porsche logo either but i added that on anyway. Also I changed the hubs a bit.

Whhouuuvvv , that is really great ! - if you could only make a low polyg version of it for games or so.. (take a look at nfs5 poshe unleashed for example it has very nice porshe models that look very good and have not much polygons really...-texturing is the key to sucess , without it...)

I think you should post it on CG talk, its looking great dude, give yourself a pat on the back, the problem you may find is that most people won't reply on CGTalk, even though theres loads, they are just weird

CGtalk scares me :p But I posted it anyway, no replies yet(Big surprise huh).
Small update with some changes:

Ill have to remake it completely for the low poly version cuz I did a lot of things that only work for renders and not games.

I've had no replies since I update my model with the finished version, and before, only two crappy comments, it usually takes ages for someone to comments, I had to bump with "Any Comments?" to my replies...
Stupid CGTalkers.

For the low polyness, try a polygon reducer

Lol sepp thats cuz mine has way more probs with it :p

@Dodic - Are you asking how to make a realistic render? Or a realistic model? For the model I was following a tutorial at the beginning, then made it more my own. In the tut, you start by outlining the side of the car just by extruding a plane and moving verts(you need blueprints). Then you extrude that to have width, and then its just a whole lot of tweaking to fit the refs. The render is pretty simple, i just have an area light with soft shadows, some mirror material on the car, and I turned ambient occlusion on as well to make it look more 3d.

Here is a small update, I redid the wheels and moved the steering wheel a little lower:

EDIT: just read your post sepp...Lol..im gonna do that just for fun.
