Not practical for entity use, but for first person, incredible work man! Awesome models/textures - you should apply to freelance for TGC! Sorry for editing out one of your pictures, but cant have vulgarities on images if they are viewable, have to link. Better to just not include them period, but funny message nontheless

finally someone who can model guns practically! I love them! Also love the duct tape magazine things, thats also very realistic.

I was playing some CS:S on one of those zombie levels, and this guy says "it takes 9 9mm bullets to kill one of these guys!"

I then proceeded to ask if he's ever talked to anyone whos had to kill a man with a 9mm from that far a way. Very realistic actually .

Id love to see some revolvers, like a .357 magnum or maybe like a .45, the m1911a2, a1 is nice but a2 is more practical. Or if your a real beast at these things, do one of those new .500 magnums. Revolver that only can hold 5 bullets, these things are the last step gun wise until you need a class C gun liscence .

Yea I'm Seppuku Arts' 3D modelling sensei basically >. (kidding)
I have never modelled a gun before, but I'm sure alot of people would like to know. Ever consider making tutorials for that kind of thing? It looks like you certainly have the skill.

@Dodic - Don't ruin this topic to. If ou make a post make it about the topic at hand. You being stupid or whatever he called you is NOT the topic at hand.

@Dodic, Not directly, but as they said this is not the topic at hand.

Quote: "Yea I'm Seppuku Arts' 3D modelling sensei basically "

Nah, I wouldn't call myself one of them, as far as the 3D world(not the magazine) is concerned, I'm still newish

Quote: "I have never modelled a gun before"

Nor have I, I'm only an organic modeller at the moment, so my other skills in modelling are crap, like my guns

@RPGamer, I was interested by the recruit thingy, but I am doing my a levels and wouldn't have time, unless there are part time jobs availible, as I am hunting for a part time job. (Could do with some money to save up for C4D 9.5 instead of using C4D 6)But if not, I would be happy to donate, maybe I should give him an email...

Those models are great, really, really great. The detail in the textures is amazing. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Awesome! The texture work is really great! How much time you have been modelling? Do you sell models?

Grim!: Do you plan on releasing any of these models to the community? Because a friend and I could make good use for these, especially the shot gun.

It would be for a shooter where you're being massacurred by the Emos, and you need to shoot them off to survive.

And the only weapons the game will feature are:
Crowbar
Shotgun
Uzi
Carbine
Knife

Also, the game would be free.

That game would suck because the only people the Emo's would be hurting would b themselves. The AI would totally suck. You would be like strafing around a corner in suspense then only to find an emo kid cutting himself in the corner while listening to Hawthorne Heights.

I`m not sure those guns are great for games , my appinion (gues) is that they have very high number of polygons (cammon , just look at them !) , so , Grim would probably have to make special models (low polyg) for your game..

the uv mapping is rather sloppy on most of the models, the meshes/skins are nice tho.

Halowed are the ori.

give an example? I dont see it...

Dodic youve probably never tested an FPS game with a 2k poly gun under development. And yove probably never even cared to look at the bottom of the images to SEE the actual poly counts...which aren't bad for FPS games... Plus the only thing the emo kids would have would be razor blades...8 polys tops!

@Skalex:, wich one do you want buy and name a price

@Cian teh Animeblood: Hmmm the spas12 "shotgun" is the only one i wanna give cus its bad modeled and skinned(one of my earlyer trys of modeling and first uvmapping job i did), but i would like to see how the game looks first.

Tsk, tsk tsk. I only revealed the basics of the game, and the AI have some special perks that would still make it fun. And, I could care less about the poly count of the guns because our emo models and enviorments will be on the lower side anyways.
