Is there anyway to make zones that kill the character instantly or restart the level

because i have this catwalk across this big room and when you jump off and fall to the bottom you dont lose all your health, and then it takes for ever for the hurt zones to drain health. while your health is being drained you can walk around. I dont want to remove the floor because then you look down and see the green skymap floor(which i have no idea how to change). Either way the environment and or your death is unrealistic.

Is there anyway to set a switch to close one door and open another at the same time? and is it possible to have a door shut after a few second so you cant back track?

are there flashlights in this game we can use?


i feel really stuck. can some one please help me.I'm not familiar with any lingo so please respond in a simple way i can understand.Thank you so much

is it possible to turn off gravity in a room? or a level or somehow make things float around in a room

how do you make "weight switches"? (A switch where you place a heavy object on and it opens a door. or if you move and object from that spot it opens a door. I think it was in one of those demo vids) and is it possible to make one door open while another closes when using a "weight switch"

Save as plrkillinzone.fpi or something, then apply to hurt zone.

#2: Not sure

#3: No Flashlight

#4: Can't turn off gravity

#5: Make a trigger zone and select anyinzone or somthing like that.

what do i copy the code snippet into?

and when i place the zone on the map can i make some how effect a large area or do i have to put them down on every square i want effected?(doesnt that add to loading and CPU usage)

programs files/the game creators/fps creator/files/scriptbank/plrkillinzone.fpi And to press hold shift down while you are painting the zone then.

pc. Cpu: 3000 amd xp+ ram 2gb

What i ment was where do i paste the text to. When hitting the code snippet button it opens up, i see the code but thats all i see. It wont let me save it. but it will let me copy the text(code). Soooo where do i paste the code. What program. i tried opening an alreading existing code file in the script bank, but i dont have a program to open it with. Is there one hidden inside FPSC Files? Or is FPSC what i have to open it with? So basically how do i get the code from this page saved onto my copmuter?

Set that last number thing too 9999 cause with a code you will have 9999 HP.....

uh last number on what? please explain this and how will it make my have 9999 HP is this if its just an active script withen the game?

serious? and you just save the notepadfile to the scriptentity file? wow thats either awsomely simple or im missing something. I'll try it thanks

so basically i have a notepad document saved in my script bank and i tried using it and it does nothing.
These are the save types it allows when trying to save it:
Unicode Text Document
Rich Text Format (RTF)
Text Document
Text Document - MS DOS Format


what do i save it as. Are serious? can you actully use script saved on notepad as AI script that seems highly unplausable. What program do i plug the code into obviously FPSC, right. but how i dont see anything that lets you plug in scripts. I need a step by step answer.

notepad is ok to make a fpi script.

If you type "scriptname" in the field for the filename you will only get a textfile.
Type "scriptname.fpi", klick "save" and you will get a fpi script.

That 9999 HEALTH is only in test game tested by me i found it out when i pressed buttons.

in multiplayer its suicide......

alternatively - just save it in notepad, then rename in explorer.

Err, yes you can. Not player gravity but object gravity. There is a script called something like 'appearnogravity.fpi' which lets objects float.

I saved it as "prkillinzone.fpi" as its name but its save type is an RTF. The other choices mentioned previously still remain. I have
"Wordpad", does it have to be note pad?

I have an attatchment of a pic It's me with it copied in and being saved with one save already existing. this is what it looks like.

I don't know about WordPad, but with Notepad (you'll obviously have that too, it should also be in "Accesories"), you have to make the save type as "All Files", then save it as "plrkillinzone.fpi". Having a specific save type at the end will always make the extension of that type included.

Silver Draquinsty: If you press TAB in a test game, it shows you the
FPS etc, and the buttons. [ goes wireframe.]turns it off. I gives you 9999 health... SUPERHEALTH! etc. Just press TAB and at the bottom of that little popup thing, it tells you what does what.
