WoW light map generation is a lot harder than I originally thought, lol. iv started the code over from scrach about 9 times, and now im finaly getting some where. still a bit left to do but not as complex as what iv currently done.
Still to do on lightmaps:
1. Edge fix.
2. Falloff rate based on normal direction as well.
3. A surfaces will only be affected if its faceing a light source and is in range(this will save up huge texture space on the lightmap image)
4. lightmaps will effect multiple objects.
Iv also decided to upload a small demo of what iv done so far , you can open the "light map setup.ini" and change some stuff around. the lightmap gets generated when u start the exe, and it loads up pretty quick for me
