Hello all! I hope you remember me from last time i did a request thread. It turned out to be a great sucess and helped me improve quite a bit. Well i know a lot of people here arnt very good at making their own models. For this reason they usually ask other people to make models for them.

Here i will be taking requests to make models and put it in a video tutorial form. That way you can follow along and learn how to model while making the model you may have requested.

To start things off, here is a video of one i just finished about an hour ago. Its about 6 minutes long and it explains how to make a very low poly (65 to be exact) sword in wings 3D. 28mb in file size.
(Also my microphone input value was set at 50% for some reason so its kinda hard to hear. sorry for that but future ones wont have problems)

http://www.galekus.com/frozen/tutorials/vidtut01.avi

If you can not see the video please download this media player, as it has the required codecs already.

http://www.videolan.org/

Hope this turns out just like last time i did model requests. if not better

I will only make static objects and If you want a specific item made, referance pics or concept art are required. Also i cant make organic very well and i will probably misguide you so dont ask for organic models.

Thank you for your interest and reading.

Ok , if you will make one for me , that is , i need a low-polyg (textured if possible) car creating tutorial (but not for real car if possible , by real i mean "porshe" , "mercedes"...)
, i would HIGHLY appreciate that one - as seems tutorials help me MUCH .

Really nice stuff, never knew how nifty of a program Wings 3D was until I watched this tutorial. Being a vertex modeler myself, watching box modeling was a new experience for me I wish MS3D had some of those features such as working in the 3D Viewport and being able to create polies like you did by selecting the edges of the model

Very nice tutorial! 5/5

This should indeed get people started. As RPGamer said I had no idea Wings was this handy to work with when it comes to low poly modeling.
Good work on this tutorial

Wow, impressive video, 5/5 totally... to be sincere, I thought Wings3D wasn't that powerful... but now I see it has some potential... I agree with RPGamer 100%, also with SGT Koolaid, as I'm a 3DSMax person too, but hey, Wings3D starts to look good now

Keep it up!

Very nice tutorial. You explained every part, exept how to smooth out the handle at the end! I agree with the people above also, about Wings3D not beigng very powerful. When I first downloaded it, I thought "Hell, this is junk, I can do better in Anom8or!" But I guess that isn't all true, not what you made in a couple of minutes, would take me hours in Anim8or.

So really, you made Wings 3D better to use.

Ok im working on the gun video first as its simpler and i should have it done maybe tomorow night this time if i get enough time to work on it.

Since the car is a little more complex i will work on it over a period of time but that will also eventually get done too.

Frozen Flame: That was sick. I've never modeled a thing in my life until now. I mean, ive slapped a bunch of prefabs and shapes into Maya and got some animation going but never started from zero and bust a full model.

You have anymore videos done up?
