Many textures in the game such as smoke and fire show up as odd shaky blue boxes, and when i use the editor my prefab areas are also like that. WHat can I do?

I uninstalled, redownloaded the demo, reinstalled and restarted and I still have the same problem.

PS. I am using the demo, the texture quality is medium, I have windows XP and my graphics card is nvidia gforce... but I don't know which number... i think two, maybe 3.

Check if you have DirectX9.0c running on your PC and if your graphics card is fully compatible with it. I have been having some problems with textures on a PC of mine and it's a matter of DX compatibility.

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

How do I do these two things (check for directx9 and check compatability)?
