is this the DB newbie, no one likes that RPGamer banned, or another one, tis confusing with all these similar or same names

Anyway, tis a bit primitive I would say, I don't want to sound offensive, but looks like it took 5 minutes to do, I know its nice to get something finished and are eager to show it to people, I know the feeling, as soon as I modelled something in the Learning Edition of houdini because the program is so hard, I felt proud to manage to get something distinguishable, but because it looked like it wouldda taken me 5 minutes in a regular 3D program I didn't show it.

I honestly don't mean to sound mean, but theres nothing I can say about your modelling. Sorry dude

pshh why should we spoend time writing code to view models that we arent even sure are good? I think megaton showed us what it looks like. Thats really not very good forum etiquitte. Being an äss like that isnt going to get you very good comments...as you saw with megaton.

I think the lack of interest that you showed in that post shows in the quality of work that your models display...

then if you know it's bad, why show it when you know you'll get flamed?

And also, you sound a lot like DB Newbe, or 'dumbo'. If you are, just be a man, step up to what you're afraid of, and stop hiding behind you little disguises.

[EDIT] Wow, I didn't know that picture was a house lol. I somehow got the picture of a rusty septic tank...

If you didn't notice I posted an encouraging "keep at it" comment. Why are you such a bloody hater of honesty?

Alright, I'll be "Forum-Honest" with you just like 95% of the people in here. IT'S A WICKED SICK MODEL MAN I LOVE IT - KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK"

Is that what you wanted to hear? Accept the fact that it is a poor model and you need to continue working on your modelling skill to improve. We all started out making boxes - just that not all of us went on the forums parading this "skill".

Thanks.

I think you are being a little bit rough megaton he did say himself that they weren't very good. He was certainly not 'parading his skill'.

what`s your icq number (ooga booga) i clicked on link , but it just says that it has an error..

my icq name is : guzina32 - you can find me by that.

p.s. to db newbie : I think it is good that you`r triying to help people out , i can help you with organizing your posts , so that people won`t act like that on your posts , (just ask me on my forums about what i mean) , it`s true that i`m not such popylar (well , popular i am , but in bad way..) muselve , but i know a way on how to help you.

You should practise a little by working on "TRACING" the images (reference images - good taken pictures , or drawings of what you want to make) , if you don`t know how to do that , send me a personal message on my forums with information about what program you`r using (OR JUST SAY IT HERE) and i`l try to explain you if i have any idea...how.. uhm..i saw now csshop , sory but i dont know for that.

But i can tell you a way : JUST ADD YOUR PICTURE TO BACKGROUND OF THE VIEWport , OR make a plain , and texture it with the reference image and make the perservie to look right in 90 degrees angle ABOVE THE PLAIN , to get seeing the whole picture in your program , then draw lines or whatever you can on the surfaces of object that you see , and that use extrusion metod or some else metod in your program to get it into 3d , and then for finer adjustmens , edit faces or something like that.

(i`m sory i explained it awfull , i know , it`s just like 7:24am in my Coutry now , and i haven`t sleep a little , so i really need to sleep a little...)

edit : I did a practiced for like few days only , and i`m very sarecfied with models i`m making , try it it helps

and in LAST CASE if yuo just wnat to make a freeware pack again , and just dont have will or dont want to learn.. : FIND SOME GOOD TEXTURES ON THE NET (SEARCH GOOGLE) , Make simple models like : CHAIRS , BARRELS , and so..and try to texture them as better as you can , and VERY SIMPLE OBJECTS can look good .

proof :

THAT WAS THE ONE OF MY FIRST MODELS EVER MADE , and it is made PURELY out of primitives (boxes , shperes and such..) , and it`s eaven not textured too well , but i`m STILL satecfied with how it looks .

I hate to pop your bubble...but I had the "name" first. I came in as DBPro Newbie(which as different as it is, its essentially the same thing) And I am sure there were others who used the same name before me...

Oh, and you should change your name anyway because people will associate you with the ridiculous posts that DB Newbe made...

I think maybe an IP check is in order before you go telling him to change his name . Trust that the mods have it under control, as clandestine as they are.

@Newbie - This is a perfect example of what you get on just about any forum you go on, no matter what your skil is. Some people will be asses about it and say only bad things and some people will try and raise there post count by saying "cool" or what have you. Be prepared for this before you make another post.

That's not at all I was meaning to say. I meant that people would associate him with the spamming DB Newbe... Not that he was DB Newbe...

Don`t worry , make one model , work on it a little , and post it here , and post screenshots and see what others will say , only good stuff (and some critisizam , but that is only for you to know how to inprove your self)
