Does anyone still have the install file for FPSPack 2.2?
I had to format recently and backed up everything but that.
Now Rastaworld.com has taken it off the download list. Anyone have it lying around please?

@Merranvo - Keep it up, and breaking down the prg and I have no doubt you'll be banned again.

And while your at it, read the disclaimer you agreed to when you installed FPSPack. Your jokes can easily get you dropped into a legal battle. Consider this your first and last warning. Part of the agreement states:

No reverse engineering. Except as stated above, YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, TRANSLATE, DISASSEMBLE, OR DECOMPILE THE SOFTWARE, OR ANY COPY, IN WHOLE OR PART. ANY VIOLATION WILL BE SUBJECTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

@ Talairina - there were a few flaws in registration in 2.2, however 2.5 will be available in a few days.

Great Rastaman. It's not really the registration I was intrested in since I have ICP Registered and I use the serial system there. I simply love using your program for the ability to allow user's to customize key's and also bring down the game size. Also the splash screen start up is great.

Keep up the work

A idea though, is it possiable to make it stand alone as well as a compression system. I.e. that way you can have it configure and look nice without the constant need to decompress to a temporay folder everytime the player want's to play. (This could be used in conjure with ICP or another installer.)

Just an idea

Ahh, but did I install the software package, or did I merely extract the files? Cause then, I did not agree to that software agreement. Or did I merely take this off of a compiled game, separating the zip file seeing how much security you added?

YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, Did I modify?
TRANSLATE, No it isn't in M++
DISASSEMBLE, Does it count if it was disassembled in the FIRST PLACE?
DECOMPILE, Same as traslating, so no.

Last I checked, I was banned...

How bad do you want to play this game?

Extracting from the installer is DISASSEMBLE. The file you posted is an 'internal' file embedded with the pack creator.

Move off of FPSPack and put your head somewhere else? Trust me when I tell you... Your screwing up the wrong tree.

Hey Rastaman, I can make your job of contacting him by mail SOOOOOOO much easier, here's his address:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

I think you realy scared him off! But you might want to give him another warning!
lol,

I for one could REALLY use Merrenvo's knowlegde. I remain ever faithful to him. It dosn't mean that I don't think he should be banned again, he'll just get back in anyways. Even if he dies get banned, I'll probably move to his forum. He can offer some REALLY great advice if your willing to listen to it.

Rasta, I'm NOT against you, I love your work! With you, like with Merrenvo, I can learn ALOT from you to. Theres alot of smart people here, but no one is smart enought to get along. And sometimes, the blame for that falls on Merrenvo.
I really like your programs that you've been creating for free, It's REALLY nice to se people with such generosity as you have, but I do wish you would have listened to Merrenvo's warnings about the holes in the program. It would have saved some time (I think). But I don't think that Merrenvo should have gone so crazy about the fact that you didn't fix the holes.
Anyways, I gotta go. Cya all.

When FPSC develops enough, lets make a Redwall game!

Perspective is an interesting concept, isn't it? See, from my perspective YOU are the one "not needed" around here, Rastaman.

The mere fact that you posted that diatribe about subpoenas, registered letters, and contacting ISP's is evidence enough of your clear mental instability. Are you going to sit there with a straight face and tell the rest of us that you are willing to spend THOUSANDS of dollars in legal research and fees to go after a guy who allegedly altered the code of your pathetic little software program? LOL!

Never going to happen so get over yourself and go back to what you're really good at...furthering the exploitation of women, piracy, and contributing the delinquency of minors (as demonstrated on your site).

Jackass.

@ SkySquared, LOL... It does not cost thousands of dollars. Roughly around five hundred. This is easy when you have an attorney on retainer. Geesh..

Quote: "(as demonstrated on your site)."

Thats right, my site. Question is, it bothers you so much, what are you going to do about it? Its all perfectly legal. If you'd simply stop with the reach-around with Merranvo and get serious about these forums, this stuff would not even be here. But I guess your into that sort of thing. But, (and I know you'll just get off on this ), I have actually written a new site solely for FPSPack which is up, but not public until 2.5 is released. Sadly to say, your favorite hot-shot, the hot or not gallery will not be at the FPSPack site, but hey, you can keep coming by RastaWorld to cast your votes like you have been.

------

@ Sunflash, understood completely. He has helped many users out with scripting. The ONLY thing I have against him is his constant abuse of my application. He did this before, got banned for that and other reasons.. He came back and basiclly left well enough alone, for awhile. Then suddenly, here he goes again. Someone asked a simple question about version 2.2 and he pulls a stunt like that.

Now sure, I after a few beers and read the post and saw the attachment, I got really steamed. What I said above about ISP data, and subpoenas is all true. Only difference is that at my day job it is involved on a much higher scale which covers thousands of dollars in issues. But to get my point across, yes, his is in firm violation of the license agreement, and from what some may think, is a legal contract in most courts of law. But again, we would not be in this thread, or having this discussion if he had simply gone about his business and provided more useful things to the forum. But he seems to love to target FPSPack cause he simply has nothing better to do.

RastaMan,

Thank you for the work you have done and the work you are doing for the community. I hate to see the heated conversation on the community boards. I feel it helps no one here.

I understand your feeling and agree with your statement about license violation. I wish everyone would just follow the license agreement. Good luck with FPSCPack. I'm buying bro.

I love the UPS Girl!!! Think I'll go over to your site now. LOL

While you are drunk, listen to this...

Your software decompiles it self. This file is put on the hard-drive instead of in memory.

Also, I think "Sexually Explicite" is refered to as the "Ability for an Image to cause Sexual Arousal". But this is only what I understand from what I have read.

(pulls collar nervously). alright, lets all take two steps back. everyone calm down... let's do this rationally. now. there will be no banning, nor legal action. lets just all calm... down... a lot... im gonna try to stay neutral here, but if I must, I am obliged to take sides with the ANJL. now, lets just not post here anymore. this is the last post. the question the thread was made for had been answered, this is just eating up space. so, after this post, anyone who posts without good reason is just noobing up the forums with useless threads. bye- see you in other topics.
