This is my first try to make a realistic guitar model , i made one guitar model before , but it was FAR from realistic , so i got my self to work on details and other factors..and here`s what i accomplished :




Plase rate my guitar model , tell me what you like , tell me what can i inprove and stuff like that..

That looks like an acustic, only theres no hole in the body. If its meant to be electric, the body is much too thick. Looks like you just slapped on a photo texture, but whatever. Not bad. Still, body shouldnt be that thick, and fenders are a bit slanted on the bottom side around the bottom of the guitar.

i know , i tweaked my accoustic guitar with some stuff now it`s semmy electric , that`s one of my guitar`s and it looks just the same as the model looks (ok , not the same , but very close as model can be) (and that`s why no hole , and body is that tick..)

p.s. trust me i find my way around guitars easily , and i have that guitar a while , so i know how it looks..


but thank`s for the comments . ( i much rather look at critics then "WHOUVV GREAT" comments , becouse they aren`t constructive and you don`t get any knowelege from then , ider advices or anything..)

looks kewl, I remember doing a guitar body modelling tutorial a while back, kinda inspired me to model me own

how did you "tweak" your acoustic to be acoustic eletric? fender doesnt even make acoustics do they? anywho its a great model but I could see how people would be confused. I'm anxious to know how you achieved such a modification?

How , take a drill , take a hammer or something , take parts , and vvvrmbbrmm.... I can`t explaine that better , it`s not such an INPOSSIBLE job to do that stuff , but you can easily ruin your guitar if you don`k know what you`r doing.. and fender is for pich , you know ...

I'm not being sceptical or anything, just a bit confused... In about a week you went from a funny polygon thing that was supposed to be a gun to these most recent two models... Makes no sense. So I'm only a little confused. However, anything is possible, so this is the only comment in that direction I'll make...

this is what i dont understand...

Acoustic guitar = hollow

electric guitar = solid

How did you get electric guitar pickups to stick in something thats hollow? And how did you cover up the hole that was in the acoustic from the string attatchments an put in the free motion fender's for the whammy bar option?

Dont get me wrong its a very nice model, im just not certain that you modded up your guitar like you say... maybe im understanding wrong?

You got an acoustic guitar and put fender parts on in and made it electric?

Yeah... especially that second gun, that was of a much higher quality then the first, I'm just glad I'm not alone in noticing that.

Serbian (we were called YUGOSLAVIA , but now we`re called Serbia and montenegro , and ussally people knows us as YUGOSLAVIAN not as SERBIAN...)

Anyways , Serbian is well much different language , first of that you read how you write ! YOU READ THE SAME AS YOU WRITE , and you don`t read s = es , you read s = s , understand? and like

sutra you read it like this = sutra , not ES,YU,TY... you just read it SUTRA witch means Tommorow ...

I tako dalje sta da se prica , necu vise da gnjavim o srpskom..

I`m good at learning , and those arent my first models that man and gun , they are only FIRST MAN , And FIRT GUN i made.. - not first model..

As SOME of you resemble i posted two model packs witch contained a heck lot better models than that first gun...(but no guns..)

I'm done with this thread...this is getting ridiculous. But I have to respond to this comment before I good namely the part I bolded. I never said or did anything to say I didn't like you or that I had anything against you. I just noticed that in a matter of days you went from a horrid simple polygon gun that you claimed to be of quality, to the much better gun... I'll read your next response but I'm no longer posting in this thread, because someone is sensitive today...

i just don`t like beeing commented like that , you can understand that ?

and no madder , i just .. well that first gun was rather bad , i modeled befoure i showed up on THIS board for the first time , i always weren`t so bad with primite made models , and simple traycing , but i have almost NO knowelege about uvw , so i`m bad at texturing , and i don`t know animation at all , so..

but it is also truth that i didn`t model for some time...

WHY COMPLICATE THIS EAVEN MORE..just forget it please..

Well anything below PRS either try to copy the Strat, Les Paul, SG, Explorer or some Ibenezs,(and fail miserably) but I've never seen any Parker replicas, but who want want to insult something that sounds so nice?

I agree, but its good if you don't have the money to be honest i woulda got an ibenez or a squire strat, but the guitar should really only be bought to suit the player really. <ost people in our school use squires mostly or guitars around that price range, don't know what otheres they use, tend not to go to that bit of school, only when my friends wanna play up there.

sorry server is down, but attached is my electric guitar (bought about 20 years ago during my Megadeth/Anthrax phase), got an ovation acoustic a few years back because some arse stole my half stack...

oh...yea...Well , it`s your to like guitars or not... I guess there are many people who like`s guitars here...

well...when it had to done , i`m "in"

i never used electric guitars , only once , it was a friend`s guitar , he came to "show off" he`s guitar...anyway i cannot remember what name it was.... But i do play accoustic guitars , (never mind that one on the picture , yes i did used it for a few hours , and it broke...the neck "cracked" ... so i tryed to fix it , and becouse neck was tooo short , you cannot use that guitar anymore...)

Acoustics are nice, I love playing them, but electric work if you want to get that metal or blues sound, but what you did to your guitar is something I wouldn't do, because in my opinion that would take the beautiful sound out of it, but really its up to the user what they think sounds best

That is an old ... not so good guitar , that`S why i did it...

anyways , yes i know electric`s are needed for metal and blues...but accoustic ..well i just like the sound...like it...

i have a few friends that have an "heavy" bend , it`s not a bend really , i mean they didn`t started yet , and they are going to play first songs inside a house (not anyones house , someone`s house from them) , and anyways becouse beeing such a good friends , they will most surely make a couple of songs for my games (action,fighting and such..) ... (they play really simmiliar to guys that playd music for Operation FlashPoint cold war)
