the application has caused a problem and needs to terminate or something like that, it happens as soon as you select the object on the entity list.

Is it a custom object your trying to use. If so check to see if there is any fault's with it. Or trying using another Entity to see if the same thing happen's.

heres the code for my chair:

;header
desc = MyChair

;orientation
model = meshbank\common\MyChair.x
offy = 0
scale = 0
fixnewy = 0

;visualinfo
textured = entitybank\generic\Custom Stuff\MyChair.tga

all the files are exactly where they should be.

I had that problem once. I came to find out that the tree I had modled was way too tall.

Nue B. or not Nue B. That is the question.

nice chair
it has 19752 triangles i think the polycount is to high.
10 mats try to take it down to 1
10 groups weld it together make it 1
your chair has bones and a animset if your not going to have it dance weld and remove it .
2 pic for you one in milkshape one if fragmotion.

Modeling and Animating software for creting your own model's (Characters, Entitys and Weapons) for various software. Used in this case for FPSC. Both have charge's for full version's and trial's I believe.

all set there it is. you can reduce polys with something like Action 3D Reducer Polygon Reduction [/href]www.thegamecreators.com/?f=action3d

look aroud the web there might be some free ones out there ?
i do not have one so i could not reduct the polys.
just drop the file in your entitybank .i put a fast uv map on it so you might want to re map it.and there is a ms3d file in there for you to.

Have you got a texture for it?

Maybe it needs a texture, or texturing .

the chair is textured, it is textured in the finished max file which i originally converted to an .x file. if i can get those textures from the finished chair onto the game somehow then it will look great!
