3 Dimensional Chat / Second Model (human body)

This is my second model excluding tutorials, and it\'s my first attempt at a human body. I used the spline cage method of modeling on 3DsMax.
Pictures of the model are at various poly levels, the highest being 4815, the lowest being 542.
The butt looks horrible but with a good clothing texture I don\'t think that should matter much.
The hands are also less than perfect, but they were very difficult to make, especially considering I didn\'t use a single reference image for the entire model. (I\'m not a very good artist and I couldn\'t find any good free pictures)

hmm not too bad . I would just say fix the pelvis, and the feet are a little big maybe. other than that its a great model, with no head

coming along, the back looks to have a sharp edge, maybe pull some points to smooth it out and make it less boxy!

hhahaha. dont model the nuts. just model the pelvis as if it all got cut off... thats why people dont suceed, because they think people will think theyre gay or something if they put alot of detail into the pelvis... just do it right . Ive had to fix my friends models because he has this notion that he has to be "straight" when hes modelling. ITS A PELVIS!! WE ALL HAVE THEM.

Im not just getting at you, im directing this comment towards all that feel that way. If you dont feel like that then dont worry about the above.

How many games are there that the characters genitals actually show anyway?

Think of it this way...if you model the genitals you have to TEXTURE the genitals, and you might need reference pics to do that...eww.

Ever searched trunk in google...some camp guy at school made me do it...git...(Dunno if it'll be there anymore, was two years a go)


Anyway, back on topic, thats a good second model, but still need improving around the obvious areas, and well you don't need to model the genitles
