Urgent Help needed. I am about to make a purchase...

Tried to run FPS Creator Demo and got the following error.

Tried on Radeon X300 and Radeon 9250

Encountered Error 1512 Display not supported by hardware at line 0.

I have done the following.

1)Downloaded latest driver from ATI
2)Installed latest version of DirectX from Microsoft

And it still didn't work.

Does your computer exceed minimum requirements?

Intel Pentium 4 Processor 519 3.06 Ghz, 1536 MB DDR, Ati Radeon 9550 256MB

Yes it definitely exceeded the minimum requirements.

The machines I tried on are at least Pentium 4 with greater than 2GHz processors.

I have also tried on different permutations of resolutions. 1024x768, 800x600, 16 bit, 32 bit. And it still didn't work.

The graphic cards did not allow me to switch to 24 bit resolutions.
