I am loving the Riker 9... I really can't wait for the release.
I wanted to know, will Riker 9 be free or will there be a charge?

Look in the Riker 9: 101 thread which Merranvo created. It tells us everything we currently know about Riker 9 put together, including the fact that SO FAR it will be community free.

It is made with the fpsc source code, so if I've read the source code agreement right it cannot be sold without violating the agreement. Unless they work out some sort of deal with TGC.

I don't see what you are seeing... He can sell it as a "upgrade"

The thing is, you aren't allowed to reverse-engineer the thing to make the editor. And you can't have an engine without the editor now, can you?

He has already made arrangements with FPSC when they approved his plans.
They stated as much in his old thread that got deleted because of one of my arguments about the License and his release.

This is history.

Riker9 is TGC approved!

Please don't bring this Release/License issue up in Cellbloc's thread.
The last thing it needs is this argument again.
