oh hell yeah Pneu... when you setup a true Server to the net, where you expect to be on all the time a Unix based machine is just unbeatable
However Windows .Net Server is actually getting alot better - problem is setting it up, i mean AOL doesn't like Unix/Linux ... and when i say it doesn't like it, i mean the thing throws a 2yo style tantrum.
So for alot of people its not an option
(especially in the states where most companies use thier own dialer program)
what i'm using at home is Windows Server 2000 (not been able to grab .Net yet) its pretty good for this kinda thing
and AOL works fine with it, probably because it doesn't use XPs lockdown IP firewall.
