Hard to answer that unless we traced every step from the beginning.
I don't know what you have done, so please don't take my advice to be critical.
I simply making a suggestion in an effort to help.
Make sure you use a
NEW Game Project Filename in the
Project Section of the
Game Project Settings Tab of the
Build Game Menu.
Man dude, that's a mouthful, but don't blame me, I didn't name 'em.
After hitting Build, the Build Game Menu should open with the Game Project Settings Tab by default.
Look for that NEW button in the top right hand corner.
Once you give a NEW Name to the Game's Project it should restore the build menu defaults.
If you are leaving this set as
mygame.fpg then that's probably the problem.
I think I ran into a problem with that on my first builds.
