well basically if you have your own site and you have links to everyone elses you can access them much faster plus more publicity (if someone goes on your site they may be led to others and so on).

FPSC Universe, I anually burned out my bandwith, but no one ever actually replied... I updated a little while I could, for I was on dialup, and almost allways had the scripts section updated... I had a heck of a lot of people signed up... but little actuall talk.

Food Stamp (CBStudios) gave me a server a while ago which I updated a lot more... I got a lot of downloads, but no one cares to actually comune... It was taken down, but by then I wasn't updating, infact I wanted to see if anyone cared any more so I put up

"The World Has Exploded"
"Please Stand By"

Told me all I needed to know, FPSC Universe died once again.

I'll see if I can dig up the old site, it isn't supported any more, but it is a historical landmark.
