Hello,

Just purchased FPS Creator. Love it btw. I just had a question regarding the entity textures. For example, the A.I. character in the editor has the following in the texture field - ai_4_D2.tga. I looked to find this file and couldn't. Is this in any particular folder and is this what I need to edit to modify the AI's texture?

Thanks in advance.

Brad.

This is probably because it's not actually a .tga (FPSC lies!)

It's actually a .dds, so if you want to edit it you'll need something that can either open and save .dds files or convert them into a more managable format. However, if you do convert them remember to save them as .tga as FPSC will convert them back into .dds

If you have Adobe's Photoshop you can get the Nvidia Plugin (its over at Nvidia's website) that will allow you to view, modify and save .dds file's. There's also a version there for Jasc's Paint Shop Pro too.

FPSC converts the dds to TGA, so if you look in the temp folder for it (dbdatax) you may find it.

EDIT:
Nope, it aint there. sorry.
