hey all, here i made some useful functions on that dll.
the Manual, commands and how to setup, you will find in the download.

stuff that dll can do so far:

Get your own IP
Download File from URL
Msg Box dialog with 15 different buttons and 5 different Icons
Save File Dialog
Open File Dialog
Color Picker
Font Picker
Clipboard works (Copy to clipboard and paste from clipboard)

check if the string convertable to integer function
getting a selected word from the string
replacing few digits in one string to another digits
coutning how many words you got in one string
WORD EXIST function.
[/Ver 0.05]
GetMyIP function fixed! now it works much much faster!
added Browse For Folder dialog
added Input Dialog!
[/Ver 0.06]
Another fix of GetMyIP() function.
Now you can get Install path of DBP!
Added GetLocalIP() function
[/Ver 0.1]

there is a manual/examples in the zip. check it

I noticed this dll back in another thread I hink and thought it looked really good but didn't try it as I've already bought BLUEGUI2. However I just saw this in your post:

Does this work for images as well as text? If so that would be very useful and it'd be inetresting to see how you would implement it into dbpro.

Anyway its great that you are making this plugin for the community and you're doing a great job well done

i afraid no, it working only on the strings. like:

ToClipBoard "Hello world" `this will copy TO clipboard
print "msg: "+FromClipBoard() `this will return the string from the clipboard. basicly thats all what it does..


anyhow, my next step, i planning to make string works...

its the internet ip, i tried it. the command is really slow but it works

internet. about the local, everyone knows that its 127.0.0.1
but the dll gets the internet IP anyway.

thanks all, v. soon ill make an FTP Client (connecting to ftp dll) that will work in different system than DBP and i already tryed that on my other system.. all what i need to do is to convert it to a dll and post it to here.

after that, i think ill make an FTP Server DLL!!!!

Looks Funky-tastic, wish i had seen it before but the parts of this I would use I have now implemented using other means.
