Hiya all.

This might sound like a n00b question, but how do you get a door working through the 'Wall Large' wall?

I have placed it just fine, but when i come up open it, it opens but the wall stays intact, so i cant get through.

Thanks,
Jamie.

It does have the 'doorremote' script.

The door does open, but the wall stays behind it. Take a look at the attached picture.

Thanks,
Jamie

I've seen this happen to me, it's the same on windows.

You can't make a whole in it i'm afraid so you'll have to choose another segment. "Wall Large" is a scenary element, not a segment, therefore CSG doesn't apply.

My advice: Choose another segment
Hope this helps

I dont want a segment tho.... its meant to be leading into a warehouse with segments INSIDE it!

All i want is a single wall, not a small room :\

Don't get agressive towards me, it's not my fault.

I'm not sure whether you deserve this hint but i'm kind-hearted and considerate:

1) Select your segment that will best fit outside
2) Go to the toolbar at the top of the editor and look for a button with the pic of a paintbrush painting a vertical rectangle.
3) This is the paint walls button it means you only paint walls of a segment not entire rooms.
4) paint your outside walls then select your inside segment and paint the inside. With any luck you'll end up with you outer wall on one side and your inner wall on the other.

There, 'ave it!
