3 Dimensional Chat / Texture mapping in wings 3d?

I have just started using wings 3d and want to load in a texture and texture map it.How would I do this?

there are a couple of ways....
1) Snap Image Method -
Import an image (file>import image). Select the faces you want to have the image pasted on them. Tools>Snap Image. Rotate the camera and scale the image (right click for snap image commands) then right click and select snap image. The faces you had selected are now textured with w/e part of the image was overlaid on them.
2) UV Map Method -
UV map you object using the built in commands (kinda tricky) then import an image and use the materials editor to select that image as the diffuse map.

3) Make a UV map, export the model and bitmap, then use a graphics package to create the texture afterwards, using the bitmap as your template.
