This is my first real attempt at a huminoid figure. He's a slightly cartoony character for a game i'm making. Please post ur comments.

Yea, i know he's leaning forward. I'll change that when i Animate him.

Not horrible, but if you look where the arms and head attack to the main body, it looks bad. You could possible make an actual indent in the main body, and kinda have a ball and socket type thing going, just so that it looks right. Of course this would make unneccesary polys, so an alternative method may be needed. Even in cartoony characters(maybe even especcially), the head should be much more rounded, however this isnt one of those cases, as it called him the tin can dude in the image...hmm.

The chest looks unrealistic, its just one bit extrusion from the body, and should have more muscle tone to it..unless it's supposed to be kinda like an outer shell around his "body", if that's the case, it should go down farther and the whole upper body should be more blockish, but not too much as it makes it look bad. Some simple hands and feet would be very convenient for him as well. I will be revisiting my hand tutorial once I have the time and motivation, and will re-post it when I do, but until then you could visit my site and check out the current hand tutorial, it isn't good, but should be applicable by tweaking some proportions. Other then that, you may want to add some extra polygons in the elbow, knee, wrist, neck, ankle region.

Oh, one more thing, the neck should be thinner, think that the two sides of the neck should be aligned with the center of the eye, so approximate where that is on your model and everything should turn out alright. Good luck! (and if you need any help with using Wings, I might be able to help)

The model is a good start. You got the Ratio size right. Keep working at it.
