Some of you know i'm doing three WWII expansion packs:
El Alemain (Africa)
Stalingrad (Russia)
French/european one (Berlin sounds too cliche)

Anyway i'm gonna use this thread to post my progress through making these packs; starting with El Alemain.

Tommorrow i'll post some pics of what i've got so far but first here's some other WWII stuff...

I've made a crater segment. This is "Crater Small", "Crater big" takes up a 3x3 grid

great work the crater, the texture for the flak doesn't look too real tough. Do you want me to make a metal texture for it? I can see if I can make a blueish one with some corrosion. If you like, talk to me!

Yeah that would help me out alot. I'm really only a novice texture and when making cut-scenes and animations, i tand to use things like bump-maps, trans-maps and sometimes enviroment maps as well as multiple textures.

Though some of this is possible in FPSC i have no program to wrap the texture around the model i'm a bit screwed. What's your e-mail? I'll send you the model in either .X or .3ds (which would you prefer?)

Sorry i didn't reply earlier, was finishing my first free texture pack (check "a texture test" post)!Send me the model to this email in x.format please:
alimpo83@yahoo.com
I'll do the texture you asked, only thing you have to do is give me credit(will send a royalty free license agreement for you to put in the distributed file), with no costs whatsoever! If you like the work then, i could make some more!

The fence seems great for FPSC, because it seems to have a low poly count. With a realistic wood texture, it would look good. You could make some different entities from that base, like adding some damage.I'm making a model pack too, check my post about it.

I've been away from FPSC for a while but i thought i'd have a go at making a brick wall for the Russian pack. Here's what i got, it's meant to be damaged
