I have been working on it now, and for the moment ive taken away the wave viewing thingy. I have found a cool sine tone when experimenting with tones, so i have made a BETA!

It is only 1 track thing, so watch out. I have disabled sound exporting for now. remember that this is a very early version testing the 'sine' tones.

Tell me what you think!

Link doesn't work. Maybe put a download link on your freewebz homepage. A lot of those free sites don't allow downloads unless it's from one of your own pages.

OK, that worked.

You're definitely onto something here. I'll be interested to see where it goes.

no, what happens is you sorta make a tune, and DB makes a wav file with the required sine tones . i should send it to you by e-mail..

actually, the tones are 'saw tooth' tones..

Steverino, you aren't that guy that made that scary max headroom wannabe are you. I looked at that last year when trying to decide whether to use darkbasic or not and it just scared me so badly.

TRS80Model1, that's me all right.

The tool I used to do Uncle Weevy's lip sync only runs on the Amiga, but I'm thinking about making a Windoze version in DB. That's why I'd be interested in seeing a code snippet that displays a waveform using a memblock.

Here's a screen shot of the Amiga version of Lip Sync Lab. A line travels across the sample as it plays, and the top lips speak the word just like your character will.

Well its hard to display the waveform because I cant resize a bitmap that is big..
I will try and work on it

Easily Confused has just about solved the problem of how to draw a waveform from a memblock: http://www.darkbasicpro.com/apollo/view.php?t=7137&b=6
