i also wanted to change them and couldn't do it

there is a textfile materialdefault.txt in Files\audiobank\materials that describes the walking sounds. I edited it and replaced the names of the default sounds with other wav-files that were in the same directory. But FPSC created an error when i tested a map.

You have to overwrite them i'm afraid...

But they're rubbish anyway, especially the metal one. You have to have a replacement with the same bit-rate and frequency high. I think FPSC sounds are 22050 Mono

Well, you just have to backup them.

Nobody can hear you scream ... you're on a forum!
