The question is not how to animate the character , the question is how to animate the character for fpsc , i mean like what frames should be for jump , run , etc.


i`m slowely making a character pack , but i need to know how to get it animated right in fpsc first...

i found it , but it`s for max 8 ... i`m afraid i dont have it , and it`s not something you would buy .. just to make some games...

You can use whatever frames you want. Later when you make the script(fpe) file, you specify the ranges for the animations. Just not to forget, the fpsc anims are made with a base framerate of 25 frames per second. So if you made something with 12frames, it would be animating fast.

If you havent received your package yet, look through the files in the demo. Its essentially the same. Play around with the software as well. When you actually are building something, then you will be able to see what parts relate to what. Like where scripts are used, whats inside the scripts and what it does. That way you will be able to figure out how objects are used. It is better and will make things easier if you understand how object are used, before creating them.
