I have a
HP Pravilion ze4500 Laptop
specs..
512MB RAM
2.00GB visual memory
64mb graphics : ATI Radeon IGP 320M
1.8Ghz 448mb of RAM
---
I downloaded the demo, to test if it works on my crappy laptop
and the editor works...
when I run the game, a blue error comes up, then it reboots
.....
I need the latest Catalyst Driver for ATI Radeon cards...
but I need the patch so it works on my laptop...

what can i do?

The spec seems fine - perhaps try a DBPro game on it too.

One thing you should do is check you are using the latest version of DirectX, I think I'm using 9.0c, which seems fine for FPSC.

VanB... I think it is worse then that, although Jeku may deny it, fantasy just had a complete XP crash. As far as I understand, DX only interfaces the OS with the hardware, so on an absince of command, what can it do? But then again, to crash XP, the fastest way is a hardware failure... and DX can probally allow that.

Support Merra XJ9, cause the name is cooler.
