Hi people, This is my first post here and i'm really intrested in this FPS creator. I have been modeling, animation and texturing for a wile now and i'm intrested in making just general stuff for people to use in their games.
At the current time i'm doing a course in video game design at solent university in southampton and i'm a good way through the second year. I have also done my fair share of work for Half-Life 2 modifications, currently i'm on the team for Black Mesa: Source as a modeler but may be moving on to do some animation soon.

Well enough about me. I want to try and do some work for this community. Not only to help people just have some fun with this FPS creator but also to improve my own work. Everyone's a winner

I'm in the process of learning how to get my work into the game. Any tips on this would be awsome. But i'm guessing all the info on doing this is in the .pds that comes with the game (correct me if im wrong and direct me to some instructions). Basicly I want people to tell me what they want for there level and I want to try making it. If this dosnt work I may get opionions or ideas for some kind of Themed Pack that would contain characters/weapons/textures all that kind of stuff.

So please reply to this and ill give it my best shot!

Welcome aboard.

The pdf is generally about using fpsc and does not contain all the information you need for getting your work in the game. There are a few threads on the forum that covers some of this.
There is also a segment editor available for download. This is an internal development tool (use at own risk, save often) which TGC has kindly released with some video tutorials. Useful info in the videos, like what goes where, applying textures, filenaming, etc.

FPSC is still in infancy and is having teething problems, so there's still alot of wailing, kicking and screaming. Go past the racket and you'll find some pretty cool stuff going on.

There are a couple of threads on FPSC Chat regarding what users want. There's even a sticky for model pack requests. You might want to start by looking at these.

Enjoy the ride and have fun.
