Wow, you really missed the point of that, didn't you? Yes the flamers are bad, and some are jerks, but this is the kind of thing that happens when you try and post a work in progress that hasn't been started. We're not telling you to leave, just to think twice before posting a concept on the work in progress board. I think you would have got a much better reception if you put this in the game theory board, where games that haven't been started yet go.
But honestly, what kind of response did you expect? You posted an idea with no details except that you would be making an rpg, and asked people to help, which is a huge commitment, especially when they know nothing about your game. Search through this thread and read the posts that aren't spam. You've been given plenty of helpful advice mixed in with the spam, and if you follow it you won’t get flamed.
And why are you trying to start an rpg while you're in the middle of an fps?
