I'm making a racing game, but I got stuck with a problem that I can't make real & smooth roads. Which software I need to make good road surface, which then I can export to the DBP?

I made a tutorial for Cinema 4D on this, so you could look around for cheap versions of Cinema 4D, you could ask Maxon.net for a link to buy Cinema 4D CE +, which is only £89 or if they have any CDs with Cinema 4D CE 6, which came free with a magazine 2 years a go.

But if not, look at one of the stickies for a 3D modeller, any you find cool, would be good enough

I don't need modellers, I need tutorials!
Where can I found some tutorials concerning the modelling part of the roads?

Well if your app uses nurbs modelling, then you might be able to interpret my road tutorial onto your app

Another idea would be to make a general purpose road model with a bunch of skeletal joints, so that you could position each limb in DB or your level maker. That way you could have just 1 road model file, but with it you could build an unlimited number of roads.

Modelling apps are like spaghetti: the only way to find the good stuff is to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. ~Me
