Cool! I beleive Bond is working on the model pack, right? And as for the update - I hope they release the source (if there are engine changes) cause if they don't my changes will be useless

I don't mean to be pessimistic, but don't hold your breath fellas. We've got this kind of message before. You're setting yourself up for alot of frustration if you think this announcement means it is coming in weeks or even a few months.

It is encouraging though that they are working on an update. Let's hope it's not a new features update, but rather a critically needed "fix" update. We’ve got enough features to make games…but we need the features to “work”.

You may get some, but I would be surprised if you see many new additional features included in the next release of any kind from TGC, for good reason. There may be some they may consider adding I can think of that they may feel are deserving of inclusion to bring the overall status of the product to that of a level of completeness.

I should think the available time will be spent in the main in endeavouring to provide stability of the product. What that entails may include additional stuff that is engine/editor related but not necessarily easily seen by the end user - hopefully the result though will be apparent to all.

Patience will be needed by users here for the long haul that TGC face in the many months at least ahead. These things tend to take longer than everyone would like and that includes TGC I am sure.

I have no real idea about anything relating to the update but thats just how I would see things pan out, but what do I know - nothing.

you do realise that tgc is a small company, with 3 coders or so? So they actually do have good release dats with only that many people.

I have been re assigned. New name, new mission. Star Fleet - 5%

Probably not any new features, just bug fixes. As for the model pack... cross your fingers!

When FPSC develops enough, lets make a Redwall game!
