Looking to communicate (send and receive) with a microcontroller via the USB port on my PC and don't want to give up the ease of use of Dark Basic Pro. Anyone know of a DLL or other means of accessing the Comm port(s) through DBP? Thanks!

ok found it

This dll has a few general functions as well as Comm Port functions, see the included doc file. I think I wrote this when experimenting with vbAdvance for vb6 to make exported dlls for use in DBP, and intended to put alot more stuff in it but never got around to it. The main thing was the comm port stuff which is fully functional. Let me know if it works out for ya.

Excellent! I'll try it out and let you know how it goes. If it works, this would be a boon to the robotics simulation community.
