Ok I downloaded Deled today and it works for me and is almost as easy to use as Cartshop, so im sticking with it.

Here are 4 shots from the dx mesh viewer.

Remember, my 1st level ever.
Took me 3 tries and about 2 hours to learn everything to get up to this.

I am making a new one... still crappy, but a bit better.
This was taken right in Deled, so you see some of the white grid.

I am starting to use different color lighting tho =P

The boxes in the level where theres empty space on the inside...walls should be flat...no need to make them 3d as the user will only see one side of them.

Its a nice level but the 3d modeller I made is way better than Deled.
(note: I have never seen or heard of Deled before)

what a stupid comment, how can you even compare it when youve never even heard of it? ive never used dled but it looks pretty advanced.

anyways you should add more lights to the house as the screens are rather dark, cant comment on it much without much visibility.

Halowed are the ori.

Hi there,

I'm Jeroen, one of the DeleD developers. A few comments:

Quote: "This was taken right in Deled, so you see some of the white grid."

Ah, press F6 to disable the grid on all views or Shift+F6 to disable the grid on the 3d view only.

Quote: "How many polys? Deled doesn't say"

Oh yes DeleD does say. Just take a look on the Scene tab on the right side of the screen.

LoL, you're funny! And I'd like to see your modeller, if possible.

Kewl, I always saw it as a general level maker. Not to get too off topic, but there seems to be something wrong with my .x exports, won't load in Light Map Maker (Yes I am a freeloader I addmit it, I'm skint atm) or TrueSpace, I haven't tried C4D because it can't import .x.
Any ideas, because last time I had it I never had that sort of problem

I do not know Lightmap Maker. Can I download a free version somewhere so I can test the DeleD .x exports myself?

Yeah, their website has been down for a while (the castle siege one worked, the problem may have been the installation that has caused problems with the exports)

I had to find a mirror, and google translated it for me;
Lightmap maker itself is a BETA, so it may have bugs in it
